Our Path

For the Lord watches over the path of the Godly, — Psalm 1:6.

Most of the people who have read this Psalm 1 has heard many times by preachers preaching about this one particular chapter of how one should stay away from sin and walk in the path of the righteousness. I am not going to discuss anything about that here.

When I read the psalm in my daily plan I came across this beautiful verse where the psalmist says that the Lord watches over the Godly and guides his/her path. What do you think Godly means? In my perspective, i understand that a person who has completely given his life to Jesus and accepts how Jesus leads his way. I believe even if you know God and do not accept Jesus’s way and stay arrogant would not be able to lead him. One has to give in to how Jesus leads each and every step of the way. In short, one has to have a child like faith. Like the faith of a child who jumps from a ledge to the hands of his father believing that he will catch him.

You do not have to be a strong Christian to know the word of God front to back for the Lord to watch over your steps. One simple act of faith will lead you to the path of Christ. Even in the coming days, I pray that may the Lord watch over your steps and bless your future. As you continue to put your faith in Christ Jesus, He will watch over your every step one by one.
