Walking Unplugged

Phones, computers, and television are just the beginning. Today’s culture has a ravenous appetite for new technology. We are thoroughly plugged in and always online, yet at the same time, dreadfully unavailable to the people we care about the most! When you look up from the screen, what do you see? who needs your attention and care?

This weekend, try a “technology fast.” Unplug the phone. Unplug the television. Unplug the computer. Unplug the refrigerator. (On second thought, you should keep that one plugged in!)

Plug in to your family. Plug in to a vegetable garden. Plug in to God’s word. Plus in to prayer. Plug in to your walk with the Lord.

You might be amazed at what can happen!
